Shunned by the congregation for not performing
by truthseeker inas many of you know, i am a witness who still attends for the sake of my wife.
my meeting attendance has dropped to about 50% and i make maybe 1 hour a month in field service, although i report more than this to keep the elder's off my back.. after several months of this, the result has been noticeable.. those who used to be friendly and greet me no longer do so.
some even avoid me.

I am impatient with nonsense and am not a good multi-tasker, nor a good typist, so chat rooms tend to annoy me. I do like that I can get up and go pee in the middle of a discussion or talk on the phone or be just as rude as everyone else is online, and no one will know the diff.

Letter to the Org

i make no mention of the dates of the events that took place back in 1999. i just wrote that i am in active and stubled.
i also accuse the local elders and org of handling the situation wrong.

i'm in shock!
by Sunnygal41 inafter 13 years with the same car, at the beginning the week i became the proud owner of a 2002 chrysler pt cruiser!
she is the most beautiful car i've ever owned............she's candy apple red, with leather seats that are heated, sun/moon roof, chrome wheels.
when i picked her up from the dealer, i didn't even feel like i should own this car, as she is more gorgeous than i could ever imagine..........anyways, i had to share my deep thanks to the universe with y'all............i am deeply happy to have a reliable, warm, safe, but absolutely gorgeous, car to drive.........perhaps it's also partly because i will be 50 years old in august............another wonderful milestone in my life......... smooches,.

the pair, almost certainly a man and a woman, are thought to have died young as their teeth were mostly intact, said chief archaeologist elena menotti.

Well, it is a bit of a stretch to assume they were hugging. They could have been arranged that way after death; they could have been sister and brother in the midst of a cataclysm or were strangers freezing to death, doing what creatures do instinctively. WOW! Fascinating. I can't wait to hear more of the scientific analysis. It is quite moving. The skulls look very modern, though. I thought Neanderthals looked a bit larger and more apish than those two. Hmmm. I do want to know more. It's a moving site.

I just read some very, very sad stories on this thread. It is clear that in order for anyone to maintain "good standing" - elder or not - they must maintain a perfect -looking cookie cutter jw life. It is just impossible for that to happen.
so sad for people when they finally realize their work as elders, pioneers, active publishers means nothing if someone in their family misbehaves; they get marked or asked to step down or told they're not publisher material or whatever.
I hear this story over and over and over and over with Jws. It is just so very profoundly sad and angering. And they say they're so full of love - totally conditional love, if you want to call it that. What other name is there for it - emotional and psychic blackmail?
